On Saturday, November 16 everyone is invited out to the town square in downtown Oskaloosa to take part in a fantastic community event. As a local business, Cool Spring Creative will be pitching in by hosting a candy cane hunt at 1 p.m.
This is the first year for the Oskaloosa Hometown Holiday Spectacular, and the organizers didn't hold anything back. Molly Harmon Photography has been offering free photos with Santa in her studio for the last few years, but this year she and her team figured to step things up a few notches with additional activities that offer something for everyone in the family. They've reached out to all kinds of businesses around the area to offer additional activities and services to make this day truly spectacular.
Horse-drawn carriage rides, coffee from the area's newest roaster, Redemption Coffee, a holiday-themed pet parade, live music, and breakfast with Mrs. Clause are just a few of the reasons to come out for the day.
